Data Deletion Instructions
If you connected your Facebook account to Veolox, use these instructions to request deletion of any personal data we collected via Meta / Facebook Login.
Overview
Veolox uses Facebook / Meta Login as part of its WhatsApp Business onboarding flow. When you connect a WhatsApp Business account through our platform, Meta may share certain profile information with us to complete the setup.
If you would like to request deletion of the personal data Veolox received from Meta in connection with your account, follow the steps below. You can also remove Veolox from your Facebook app permissions directly from your Facebook settings at any time.
Note: Deleting your data via this process removes the information Veolox stored from Facebook Login. It does not automatically cancel your Veolox subscription. To cancel your subscription, contact us separately at admin@veolox.com.
What data we collected via Facebook
During the WhatsApp Business embedded signup flow we may have received the following data from Meta:
- Facebook User ID — a unique numeric identifier for your Facebook account.
- Name — your name as it appears on your Facebook profile.
- Email address — if you granted permission for this scope.
- WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) details — phone number, business name, and WABA ID shared during onboarding.
- Access tokens — short-lived OAuth tokens used to complete the WhatsApp Business account registration on your behalf. These are not stored permanently in plaintext.
We do not collect your Facebook password, payment information, friends list, or any data beyond what is required to connect a WhatsApp Business account.
How to request deletion
You have two options to initiate a data deletion request:
Go to your Facebook account → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites. Find Veolox and click Remove. This revokes access and triggers Meta to notify us to delete your data.
Send an email to admin@veolox.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include your Facebook User ID (or the email address linked to your Facebook account) and your Veolox account email. We will process your request and send confirmation within 30 days.
Automatic deletion via Meta callback: Veolox complies with Meta's Data Deletion Callback requirement. If you remove our app via your Facebook settings, our system is notified to trigger the deletion process automatically.
Find your Facebook User ID: Log in to Facebook, go to your
profile, and look at the URL — the number after id= or in the
URL path is your Facebook User ID. Alternatively, include your Facebook
profile URL in your email and we will locate your record from that.
What gets deleted
Upon receiving and verifying a valid deletion request we will permanently remove:
- Your Facebook User ID and any associated profile data (name, email) that was received from Meta during login.
- OAuth access tokens linked to your Facebook account.
- Any internal records that reference your Facebook identity.
The following data is not removed as part of this request because it is required for legal, contractual, or operational reasons:
- WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) registration records — these belong to your WhatsApp Business entity and are managed separately through Meta Business Manager.
- Transaction records (invoices, billing history) required for accounting and legal compliance.
- Conversation logs you explicitly stored in Veolox as part of your own business operations.
Timeline & confirmation
- Acknowledgement: We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days of receiving it.
- Verification: We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the deletion to prevent unauthorised requests.
- Completion: Deletion will be completed within 30 days of your verified request.
- Confirmation email: We will send a confirmation email once the deletion is complete so you have a record.
If you do not receive an acknowledgement within 3 business days, please check your spam folder or send a follow-up email to admin@veolox.com.

Submit a deletion request
Email admin@veolox.com with subject "Data Deletion Request" and your Facebook User ID or profile URL. We respond within 3 business days.
